Sun and Sea Honeymoon 7 Days
If you’re thinking of spending some days free at the beach for your honeymoon vacation and if you want to save the famous Angkor Temple Complex for another visit, then a combination of Phnom Penh and Shihanoukville will the best at its kind. The itinerary includes must-see attractions in Phnom Penh plus 4 days totally free to unwind at the Shihanoukvile beach.
Day 1: Phnom Penh arrival (G)
When you arrive at Pochentong airport in Phnom Penh, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. In the evening, you will have a sunset cruise on the Chatomouk River. Your overnight accommodation will be in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom Penh City tour (B, G)
Your morning will be free to recover!
In the afternoon, you’ll visit the National Museum, home to the world’s best and probably the largest collections of Khmer art, also considered one of the most amazing artifacts and traditional collections collected from all over the world. You will then visit the Royal Palace and the attached Silver Pagoda, a symbol for Cambodia. After that, you will have time to visit and shopping at the Russian market. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 3: Phnom Penh/Sihanoukville (DP)
In the morning, you’ll drive from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville, which is about 240km from Phnom Penh. By the time you reach Sokha beach, you find a classic tropical strand – soft white sand, gentle limpid waves, palm trees and so on. Skipping the long first half of Ochheuteal beach (good, but lined by shanty shelters), you arrive at the top of the Queens Hill promontory with stunning views of seemingly endless beaches in both directions. You’ll have time to relax, swim or sunbathe as you wish. Your accommodation will be in a hotel on the beach.
Day 4 to Day 6: Sihanoukville free (B)
Your time will be on your own!
Day 7: Sihanouk Ville/Phnom Penh departure (B, DP)
Free time until your car arrives to take you to the airport in Phnom Penh for your departure flight. Tour ends.
