City Laundries

In Hanoi:

It’s not difficult at all to find the laundry shops in Hanoi. They’re everwhere! On the streets or in the hotels – from stardard hotel to luxury ones, those are serving both locals and foreigners who are travellers and expats, there is no difference in price between locals and foreigners, as the country economy has improved recently and there are more busy people. Some are washing your cloth themselves, some send them somewhere or send to military laundry workshop at 33 Pham Ngu Lao Street. Most laundry shops in old quarter offer US$ 1 – US$ 2/kg laundry cloth and you can get it in 24h, for urgent cases price is higher.

In Hue:

Just keep looking to Le Loi and Hung Vuong street you can find load of laundry shops charge US$1 – US$2 / kg. But you should let it done in Hoi An (if you visit HoiAn) , as there are laundry shops everywhere.

In Hoi An:

Hoi An is a small old city. Before being a destination it was almost like a quiet town, young people were looking for a job in big cities, and now infrastructure has been improved, and it is gradually getting back its hey days. However, you still can see the atmosphere of a village rather than a town, and people are mainly living on tourism, farming, and fishing. In most hotel front door you will see some shops selling water, rent out bicycles, and laundry service range from US$1 – US$2 /kg…very reasonable and trustable as people here are very honest and friendly.

In Saigon:

You can easily find many good laundry shops in Pham Ngu Lao Street, Cong Quynh Street or near Ben Thanh market. Price is various depend on shops but normally from US$1 – US$2 / kg.
