HOA LU - TAM COC (day trip)
Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are the places you can make a combination for
a day trip
from Ha Noi. Hoa Lu was the captital of Viet Nam in
968-980, here you can find out a
period of struggling to unify and to
protect the country at Dinh & Le temples. Tam Coc is known as Viet
Nam's Ha Long bay in land. You can make a boat trip along the river and passing
three caves
-
Departure: 7.15 AM from Ha Noi. Road trip
takes about 2 hours. Visit 2 old temples in HoaLu - the ancient Capital of
Viet Nam. Climb up to YenNgua mountain to catch a great view of the area,
which’s nick name is "Inland HaLong". Transfer to TamCoc for lunch at
AnhDzung Restaurant. After lunch you will enjoy a beautiful rowing sampan
cruise for about 2 and half hours in small quiet river, which is running
in between a rocky mountain ranges and rice paddies. When the boat trip is
finished, get on bus for driving back to HaNoi. Tour ends around 5.30
PM.
