Vietnam Honeymoon Vacation 15 Days
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival (D, GP)
Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. After checking in, you’ll be free for a preliminary wander around the hustle and bustle streets of this busy city. In the evening, your guide will take you to a nice restaurant for dinner. You will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City orientation (B, L, G)
Your morning will be free to recover!
In the afternoon, you will visit the History Museum, the huge Ben Thanh market. You’ll finish your day with a relaxing holistic body treatment in a spa centre. You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City/Nha Trang (B, DP)
Your morning will be free until your car arrives to take you to the airport for a noon flight to Nha Trang. On arrival, you’ll find a car and driver waiting to take you to your hotel, which will overlook the Bay. You’ll spend the night in Nha Trang.
Day 4: Full day private boat trip in Nha Trang (B, L, G)
After breakfast, a car will arrive to take you to board a boat for a whole-day cruise to some of the small islands in the bay. You’ll anchor off Mun Island for snorkelling and a glass bottom basket boat ride to see colourful corals and the mysterious marine life. You’ll then cruise to Tam Island for swimming or relax on the beach before heading to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island.
If you wish, you can join with other tourists to the ‘music entertainment’ with a wine and fruit party, followed by a seafood lunch on Tre Island. In the late afternoon, you’ll get back to the mainland and drive to your hotel. You’ll spend the night in Nha Trang.
Day 5: Mud bath in Nha Trang (B, G)
Your guide will pick you up at hotel and drive to visit to the impressive Ponaga Cham tower. You will then drive to the nearby Thap Ba hot spring spa. You can wallow in mud in an outdoor bath, shower in spring water, and bathe for as long as you like in a large hot mineral water swimming pool set in beautiful gardens. There are two bath options – private and communal. The private baths each accommodate two people and are shielded by bamboo screens. The communal bath takes up to six or eight people, are cheaper, and are much more fun. It’s surprising how quickly strangers become friends when you’re slipping about in the goo! Bathing costumes (functional, but definitely not fashionable) and towels are supplied. The baths are on terraces on a rocky slope, and the gardens are bedecked with colourful ‘paper trees’.
After relaxing in the mud baths and mineral water pools, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.
Day 6 to 9: Nha Trang free (B)
The day will be free for strolling in the city, lazing on the beach, or whatever takes your fancy. You’ll spend the night in Nha Trang.
Day 10: Nha Trang/Hanoi (B, GP)
Your time will be free until your car arrives to take you to the airport for an early afternoon flight to Hanoi. Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel.
In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi Orientation (B, L, G)
Today, you will visit some highlights of Hanoi. You will first visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum’s complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, his simple house-on-stilt and the nearby One-Pillar Pagoda. You will then visit the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, Tran Quoc Pagoda.
After lunch, you will visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century. You will then drive to the excellent Ethnology Museum for an overview of Vietnam’s 54 distinct ethnic groups. You will finish your day by a visit to the centre of Hanoi including Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. You will spend the night in Hanoi.
Day 12: Exploring villages around Hanoi (B, L, G)
In the morning, you’ll be picked up to drive to Bat Trang, a well-known ceramic village located 10km east of Hanoi. Here, you can watch local people producing their fine products and visit some of the houses used as workshops and showrooms. You can try your hands in making your own cups, vases…You will then have pleasant easy bike along the riverside dike seeing the daily life of the local people.
You’ll then drive to Dong Ho village – famous for its traditional wooden block printing. Here, you will visit the house of a craftsman, who is renowned for his traditional paintings.
After lunch, your vehicle will take to Tam Tao village to enjoy its traditional Quan Ho music performed by villagers in the commune house. The singers have been officially designated as part of Vietnam’s ‘living heritage’ by UNESCO. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Hanoi for your overnight accommodation.
Day 13: Hanoi/Ha Long (B, L, D, DP)
After an early breakfast, you’ll leave for Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas where you’ll board a one-cabin private luxury wooden junk that will take you through Bai Tu Long Bay area. You’ll then continue your cruise to the bay’s most deserted areas with opportunities to swim at quiet sandy beaches. The route is designed to avoid the busy areas and includes a very quiet location for your overnight stay.
Day 14: Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you’ll continue your cruise to visit a fishing village where you’ll have an opportunity explore the village and hidden lagoons in a kayak. After BBQ lunch on a wild sandy beach, your time will be your own to relax or continue exploring the bay by kayak. You’ll stay overnight in a very quiet location of the Bay.
Day 15: Ha Long/Hanoi (Brunch, G)
You’ll spend the morning cruising Ha Long Bay, followed by brunch just before docking around noon and leaving for Hanoi. The rest of the day in Hanoi will be free at your leisure. You will spend the night in Hanoi.
