VIET NAM EXPEDITION (22 days )

Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city arrival
 Pick up at the Tan Son Nhat airport and drive to Ho Chi Minh City center, where you will get a sock culture for a very crowded city - 11million people, and about 7 million motors. Check in hotel. [B]
Day 2:HCM - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Can Tho- Mekong river for floating market
 Drive to Cai Be floating market and boat ride to Vinh Long passing the widest part of the Mekong river in Vietnam, visiting people workshops: fish sauce, pop rice, fruits gardens, islands and eat lunch in a home garden. Our van is waiting on the other side of the river and pick up and continue drive to Can Tho, visit people life and market at the arrival. Overnight in Can Tho. [B,L]
Day 3:Can Tho - HCM
 Visit famous Cai Rang floating market and rural life along the river bank. Return to Ho Chi Minh City visit a Cao dai temple on the way. [B]
Day 4:HCM - outside tour - HCM
Morning visit the city the former French colonial city: Notre Dam, post office, war remant museum. Afternoon drive to the underground tunnels of Cu Chi for a study the USA war in Vietnam. [B]

Day 5: Saigon - Phan Thiet

AM Drive to Phan Thiet (220km). Afternoon free to the famous beach of Phan Thiet. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Phan Thiet - Nha Trang (230km drive)
Drive to Nha Trang. Visit Cham ancient temples.  [B]
Day 7:  Nha Trang
Nha Trang full day boat trip for snorkeling, visit a fishing village, eat lunch with seafood.  [B]
Day 8: Nha Trang - Hoi An
Fly to Da Nang, pick up and transfer to Hoi An.  [B]
Day 9:  Hoi An
Visit HoiAn ancient town in the morning. PM relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - the Cua Dai beach in Hoi An. Stay over night in HoiAn . [B]

Day 10:  Hoi An
 AM boat trip on the Hoi River to study the ancient trading route and fishing lives. PM a drive of 45km to visit My Son - Cham ruin temples

Day 11: Hoi An - Hue
AM drive to Hue around 9am via Danang and Hai Van pass. PM: Visit the Forbidden Citadel. [B]

Day 12: Hue
AM: a drive to visit Minh Mang tomb and eat lunch vegetarian food in a pagoda, meditation, and Thien Mu pagoda. back to the city by boat for sunset. [B]

Day 13: Hue - Dong Hoi a visit to former DMZ
Drive  northward to visit former DMZ Quang Tri, Dong Ha, Ai Tu airport, Gio Linh, Doc Mieu, Vinh Moc tunnel, and drive to Dong Hoi city for overnight (Hue - Dong Hoi is 190km, There is a very beautiful resort in Dong Hoi is Sun Spa resort locates right on unspoilt white sandy beach). [B]
Day 14: Dong Hoi
Morning visit Phong Nha cave - the longest underground river in the world, afternoon back to Dong Hoi city. [B]

Day 15: Dong Hoi - Ha Noi
 Evening board on train to Ha Noi . [B]
Day 16:Ha Noi
 Arrive Ha Noi early in the morning and transfer to hotel. Afternoon Xich Lo tour to Ha Noi. Evening see water puppet show.

Day 17:Ha Noi - Ha Long bay
 Morning drive to Halong,  stay overnight on boat at sea where we spend one night: cruising to see thousand islands, caves, swimming, eat lunch, dinner on boat. [B,L,D]
Day 18:Ha Long - Ha Noi - Sapa
AM continue the boat cruise on HaLong Bay, after lunch back to Ha Noi. We board the night train to LaoCai. Soft sleeper class [B,L]
Day 19: Sapa 
Morning transfer to SaPa. Check in hotel. In the afternoon we visit the surrounding villages of the Black H'mong people.( Sundays market for Bac Ha, Muong Khuong market on Sundays, Can Cau market on Saturdays, Coc Ly market on Tuesdays - come to Coc Ly market then take a boat trip on Chay river is a way to paradise!!! )

Day 20:Sapa - HaNoi  
AM: Visit to the Red Dzao village. PM: Transfer down to LaoCai for night train back to HaNoi. Dinner in LaoCai. Sleep overnight on train. ( Soft sleeper class). [B]
Day 21: Ha Noi Shopping
: AM: Arrive HaNoi. Full day free at leisure.[B]
Day 22: Ha Noi departure
: We bring you to the airport for your flight home. End Tour..[B]
